After lots of years and many memories, what's the one thing you still haven't done that you'd like to do?

I would like to see Florence, Italy.

Unfortunately, many years ago, about 10 minutes after I told my husband about this wish, I went through the checkout line at the supermarket, and the checkout clerk's nametag said "Florence". Now, whenever I bring up going to see Florence, my husband tells me I've already seen her!

(Actually, my health won't allow me to take the trip ... but it makes for a good laugh for us).

P.S. - Florence is not nearly as beautiful as they say.

Visit an Amish town for a day.

Fishing trip at Lake of the Ozarks, crystal clear water.

Visit some historical sites, such as Volubilis , Petra, Jerusalem and places in Turkey.

Go back to the area where I was born and see how much it's changed, or not changed.

Take photography and art lessons.

AS a child, many years ago in 1937 I was going to school and on the hoarding outside the school there was a placard posted showing an air raid on Madrid ( it was the time of the Spanish Civil War) it terrified me .I used to close my eyes when passing it. I have travelled the world since then and my wife and I go to Spain twice a year, but I cannot bring myself to visit Madrid.

Visit the Grand Canyon up close and personal. The last time I saw it, was on a train bound for the far west U.S, when I was a child. I would love to be able to stand high atop and just take it all in. Maybe even scream out to God, "I'm alive and doin' fine!"

I'm not much of a traveler, but I'd love to visit New England once in the fall. I listen to a Boston radio station at night sometimes and I love the historical references, too.

I truly always wanted to become a Morris or Molly dancer but by the time I had the nerve to do something about it my health let me down & I regret not being brave enough when I was younger.

1. I'm learning how to drive a motorcycle. I'm slow at it. Fortunately I have a patient son who is helping and encouraging me. Yeah, took the safety class. It helped, but isn't quite enough to just go.

2. I wish I could take my Dad to Ireland, but he's gone now.

Navigate the Amazon River in a boat. It's not going to happen, I can no longer out swim an alligator.
