rubbish horror movies that were hyped up?

ive just wasted 90 minutes of my life watching the first paranormal activities (yes im 2 years behind the rest of the world).

what a load of cr@p i remember when it came out they had tv ads showing a supposed cinema screening of the film and the audience were jumping out of their seats ,screaming ,covering their eyes and gasping for breath they couldnt have watched the film ive just sat through unless sky have edited it what a load of rubbish i struggled to stay awake

-the 4th kind -that film with Milla Jovovich in it thats about alien abduction and was supposed to be made with real footage

the blair witch project - another film that had audiences feinting with fear according to the original advertisements its remember-able for one thing only that girl snotting all over the place whilst crying saying "sorry"

there was another one a couple of years ago cant even remember its name now it was so bad supposed to filmed on students cameras it was about some giant monster in the middle of new york or someother american city it was like godzilla but it was meant to be serious

It is called tricky publicity, in TV commercials they try to convince you that the movie is scary that you will poo in your pants but in reality the movie just sucks, a few god examples of these would be:

    Signs (2002)

    The Village (2004)

    The Blair Witch Project (1999)

and Paranormal Activity 1 and 2

The Blair Witch Project & Paranormal Activity were both way overrated. Whoever was scared by them probably have only seen about five horror movies in their lifetime.

hiya. sounds such as you're burnt out, been gazing too complicated middle a horror from too youthful an age. Take a ruin, watch some thing else for some years and attempt to study some empathy to your fellow human beings - it extremely is empathy that makes you waiting to take excitement in horror and you have lost yours. attempt action, like the three "Bourne" videos, or music down significant anime sequence like "demise observe" and watch the lot. solid good fortune, Steve.

There are worse, but I do enjoy a really bad horror flick from time to time. Ever hear of Thankskillng? How about Trolls 2? The best worst movie ever!

The Blair Witch and Cloverfield were both brilliant, idk what you are talking about.

But I would say EVERY J horror remake that has come out the last decade: The Grudge, Pulse, Dark Water, One Missed Call, The Eye.

Then all the gore/torture porn movies: All Saw films, Hostel 1 and 2.

    Yeah they sucked.

Cloverfield is the name of the one that you cannot remember. I agree with you that a lot of these movies were over-hyped.
