all this time weve had arguments about goal line technology and asking for tv replays to have second looks at controversial decisions and now according to the birmingham vs millwall game yesterday it seems a 4th official can look at an incident and tell the ref what to do

millwall scored a "goal" (a player had a shot another touched it in on the way in to the net) the ref said off side(correctly) the linesman called him over said it was a goal as the secondary player never touched the ball(he did) the ref said goal pointed to the circle for the restart the birmingham players protested then the 4th official tells the ref what he had seen on TV monitor so ref changes it back to no goal .so if this can be done why has it never been used in the" did the ball cross the line" incidents we constantly see

my wifes just got an ipad 2 she wants headphones for it (the over the head type(old fashioned cans) not earbuds/earplugs as she is uncomfortable using those) ive tried 5 or 6 different sets but no sound comes out from them ive even brought an audio splitter adaptor that was advertised as for use with ipad2 but that doesnt give her audio she has sound without headphones and my in ear earphones for my mobile phone and my daughters ipod earphones work on it so its not a fault with the ipad

so xfactor put on its halloween edition last night and then the acts dressed up but sang naff all about halloween

tainted love.....nothing to do with halloween (ok she did a witches laugh and said trick or trick in the middle)

kitty will be in the bottom 2 week in week out and be "saved" by the judges (not because of talent but because it will cause controversy and get the headlines (just like l last year and that katie weasel girl)

the first ones out will be 2 shoes or that other girl band with the girl who looks like a fish

at least one person every week will be told they "made the song their own" or they "smashed it"

simon cowell will appear and ask louise "what was you thinking...." about that johnny bloke

anyone else noticed the dad puppet in the new comfort clothes conditioner ads have a striking resemblance to match of the day pundit and ex liverpool defender alan hansen

ive allways like ramsey but watching his new channel 4 programme kitchen nightmares usa ive noticed its the same " story " every episode

he goes to the restaurant has 3 items off the menu moans and tells the staff all the food hes given is cr@p

has an argument with the owner

finds rubbish stored in the stock room and all the food in the fridges has been put in the wrong places

then on the first night of service it all goes wrong

food is rubbish , cold or not cooked

the service is pants

the head chef is a complete and utter joke and the head waiter (normally the owner)is way out of their depth

next day gordon takes over changes the menu

the service starts well food looks good the food is getting to the tables on time everyones all smiles then BANG! it all goes t*ts up again waiters cant cope the chef cant manage the head waiter/owner throws a wobbley

then on day three its like a completely different restaurant the waiters all know what their doing the head waiter/owner has learnt patients and manners and the head chef has suddenly turned into Raymond Blanc and the food looks like 5 star fine dining rather than a plate of dog food

i have a lot of music on an external drive

on my old pc that ran on vista all albums were nicely in alphabetical order and all had the cover art because my old reliable machine blew out because of a power surge

ive just changed over to this new machine which runs off windows 7

the files are no longer in order and many of my files no longer have the cover art on them

with the old vista machine files could be easily be rearranged by dragging file into a space between others, this machine doesnt let you do that it only seems to let you drag one file into another

when it comes to the cover art problem with the old system it was easily done by right clicking opening up properties and choosing a file in the customize tab this doesnt work on my new 7 machine

to most this might seem trivial but i am really OCD when it comes to music and i need to know how to get it all back in the right order with its cover art intact

any advice would be really helpfull because im nearly out of medication

will those amongst the dwindling numbers at old trafford who have green and yellow scarves stop wearing them incase people think they are carrot crunchers ?

did the ref blow up for an non existent foul yesterday when torres had his one and only shot because man u had 2 players off the pitch after getting treatment at the time and the ref was worried about getting a b*llocking from sir alex if a goal was scored ?

why do all the tv adverts and pictures on the box show happy faces playing with it 2 foot away from their tv .........when unless im across the road in number 57s house the bl00dy thing doesnt work cause it says im too close?

after months eagerly waiting to unwrap that prezzie under the tree from the wife that i knew was COD black ops i finally got my hands on the game started playing it on the hardest level yesterday and less then two hours later the titles came up and it went into zombies most of the game seemed to be skip able unplayable footage i dont play games on line so im really disappointed

(lucky the mrs brought me halo reach as well so i had something to do the rest of yesterday)

ive been a big fan of the band for years infact ive got tickets for the foo fighters summer gigs at milton keynes simply because biffy are support act

but just incase you aint aware this years x factor song is a biffy clyro cover (many of horror) have they lost all credibility as true rock gods by allowing simon cowells multi million pound band wagon to come rolling in their direction

have they in some way brought credibility to that manufactured pop crap by allowing the x factor winner to use their song?

anyone else made up a premiership team for this fantasy football league

ive got a team i made up for the yahoo fantasy football league you dont win a prize or anything so basically its just for a laugh my teams somewhere in about 38000th of somewhere else miles away from the leader board (i actually picked up 138 points in one weekend a fortnight ago thats the best ive done in one hit)

this morning out of boredom i was looking at the league table top ten ITS RIGGED!!!! you are supposed to have only 100 million to spend if you total up the prices of the top 3 in the league the managers have spent

111 million

120 million

and 116 million

im not taking the whole thing seriously but it just seems so wrong theres no way the players prices have fluctuated that much to have allowed these totals spent

whats the point of showing a top ten when its obviously just faked if they want to put a top 10 up they should have least do the maths to make sure it could be real

unless this survey was done in the USA its surely rubbish,i can not believe for one moment that, that terrible waste of 3 minutes along with a few others can honestly have been played more then the slade track or the classic by wizzard since i was a kid ive known its nearing christmas for several reasons ;-

toy adverts are on telly 24/7 all of a sudden

that bleeding coke `holiday is coming` jingle

and `i wish it could be christmas` ringing out across the airwaves no matter what station your radio is tuned to

slade and wizard are more christmas then turkey and cranberry sauce who made up those figures

am i right in thinking it is supposed to be by all the final 16? so where was f.y.d? where was nicolo? where was diva fever ? and where was wagners bit? i cant remember seeing storm either

it was also the worse case of lip syncing in the whole series the group song is allways mimed to but mary was miming to the wrong line she was so far behind and the boy from one direction missed his cue when "singing" his solo

just upgraded my daughters phone previously she had a lg cookie (now the 5230)

they both use the same micro sd card as support memory card so ive tried SEVERAL times to put her old memory card in to the nokia .yet when we try the music player it says theres no artists/songs/playlists etc the file manager recognizes the phone has a card in it even knowing the amount of space thats left of its 2 gig left ive tried refreshing the songs/artist/playlist but says theres no files there

yet when the cards back in the old phone or in a pc card reader all the stuffs there on the card ready to play

the user manual is as helpful as a paper life raft with a hole in the bottom

so does anyone in Y/A land have any ideas ?

ive just wasted 90 minutes of my life watching the first paranormal activities (yes im 2 years behind the rest of the world).

what a load of cr@p i remember when it came out they had tv ads showing a supposed cinema screening of the film and the audience were jumping out of their seats ,screaming ,covering their eyes and gasping for breath they couldnt have watched the film ive just sat through unless sky have edited it what a load of rubbish i struggled to stay awake

-the 4th kind -that film with Milla Jovovich in it thats about alien abduction and was supposed to be made with real footage

the blair witch project - another film that had audiences feinting with fear according to the original advertisements its remember-able for one thing only that girl snotting all over the place whilst crying saying "sorry"

there was another one a couple of years ago cant even remember its name now it was so bad supposed to filmed on students cameras it was about some giant monster in the middle of new york or someother american city it was like godzilla but it was meant to be serious
