MOMS-How much is your utility bill? Where do you live and how big is your house?
I live in Ontario canada and we have not yet had to pay utilities as our rent is all inclusive. We are currently looking at moving into a condo that we would have to pay utilities in. We would be paying gas heat, electricity, and water. The unit is about 1200sq ft. We are a family of 4 (2 yr old and 6wk old). I am trying to figure out how much we should consider for utilities. I have heard average here is about $175/month.
So...
Where do you live?
How big is your house?
How many people?
What is your monthly utility bill like?
WOW! $495 for rent!!! our rent in a small 2bdrm is $779 and thats cheap here!
For the condo we are looking at rent would be $850

Can you call the utility companies and ask them what the rates have been for that particular unit for the past few months? That's really common here and they'll gladly share what the rates were with the previous occupants.
We're in south-east Idaho in a 1950 sqft manufactured home with two adults and one child. We pay $60-70/month for our electricity. We have a propane tank, so figuring our monthly gas costs is a bit more difficult, but we spend somewhere around $800 a year. (This is unbalanced monthly, though, since we'll spend $250/month in the winter and maybe $30/month in the summer.) Our well and septic system replace our "water" utilities, which costs us next to nothing (maybe $10/month if we spread out the cost of having the septic tank pumped every few years.)

We live in upstate New York.
There are 3 of us.
2200 square foot house with 12 foot ceilings and old windows (we're working on replacing, but until they're all new they are an energy drain) and an unenclosed fireplace.
We do a budget with our utility company, our monthly bill for gas/electric is roughly $250 every month with 2 balloon payments (on in June, one in January) of roughly $600.
Our water bill is $40 every 2 months, sewer is $85 a year.

We live in West Virginia (the US).
We live in a mobile home (It's 80 ft long + 16 wide, don't know sq ft..)
Our home is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.
Three people (Me, my SO and our LG).
Our electric bill is between $140-170 - depending on the time of year.
We do not pay water or sewer.. we have a well and septic system!
We pay our mortgage payment, electric, cable, and internet.
I consider car, insurance, cell phones, credit cards.. seperate!

I live in Houston Texas, and my utility bill in the summer time can get pretty high, between $350-$400 a month. Our house is 2000sp ft with really high, vaulted ceilings, so that definitely makes a difference. Around this time of year, its been around $200 since we dont have to run our AC as much because its starting to cool off (just a little though) it seems like its hot year round in Texas! haha

my husband and I just live in a small 2 bedroom apartment in Iowa. We have two kids so that's 4 of us. We pay for electricity and water. Electricity is usually $65 a month and water is $50 a month. Our rent is $535 a month. so you can say that's cheap.

It sounds glaring that she's not gonna get a job or exchange something she's doing. for my section you purely to have a communique together with her. attempt to maintain it shorter then longer and tell her what you reported. you think of she's a great mom and a solid man or woman yet it is not a healthy thank you to stay and if she maintains to stay like this then you and your $seven hundred/month ought to locate a sparkling to blame roommate. do not assume alot of exchange in her nonetheless, she's been who she is for an prolonged time.
