Please help! I have a question about iPod and iTunes?

I recently restored the computer of which my iPod was compatible to, and that it was automatically synchronized to. I didn't get a chance to save any of my music, so all is lost, nor did I get a chance to change automatic syncing to manual before restoration. I would now like to hook my iPod to another computer (the laptop), and start all over. I still do have the music on my iPod and I would like to export the songs from it to the iTunes library on the laptop. The last time I hooked the iPod to the laptop, it froze, and so did the computer. What do I need to do? Is it possible to export the songs? Are there any options out there? Please, I do not want to lose my music, as the songs have been difficult to recover elsewhere. Thanks for the help.

Apple hides everything from you so you can't transfer songs from your iPod to another computer. However, there is a program called Senuti, which is iTunes spelled backwards. Google this program and it will allow you to take all of the music from your iPod and put it into your iTunes on your laptop. Hope this helps.
