Could my symptoms be caused by a food, or other allergy?

I have a problem with my skin feeling like it's going through the stages of a bad sunburn. It will start burning so bad I can't touch it, and daily it will ease up but never goes away. Can't hardly stand to have clothes touch my skin. Has anyone heard of this symptom found to be an allergy, or toxin?

    sure -continue to take benedryl as directed, keep a food diary, and see your allergist.
