Very easy to predict Dexter is a vampire a blood sucker so they have quite a bit in common when you think of it professor Dave.

Wow. It's called drama. Drama about non-troubled people is boring! Now we all hate drama in ordinary lives; but, to quote Tolstoy: "All happy families resemble one another, each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." It is the individual unhappiness that makes art interesting. Otherwise its just real life without that annoying cousin.

Character flaws make characters.

Rick Blaine is a mysterious quasi-underworld figure who hides that he has true feelings for someone.

Holden Caulfield is a misplaced youth who is rebelling against his own limitations.

Yossarian is driven insane by the insanity around him.

Jeeter Lester is an unambitious dreamer who is kicked down by the Depression.

All of these Characters are "troubled people," yet, Casablanca, Catcher in the Rye, Catch-22 and Tobacco Road are classics of American Literature and Cinema.

What are you watching? Survivor? Jersey Shore? Because nobody is troubled on those shows!

Dexter kills people that murder innocents.

I thought liberals liked coddling murderers and trying to understand the terrorists.

If Dexter was a liberal he would be trying to understand why HE made the killers kill.

I have often wondered why the hypocrisy of liberals is not looked at. Just look at Hollywood/liberals they are so against the death penalty but they have movies and shows that actually celebrate vigilantism,robbery,murder etc.I don't get it myself why no one seems to call them on their double standard but that's just me.

I did find that odd, also odd was that the Big Bang Theory was high on the list of shows preferred by conservatives.

Democrats are nothing but the party of rich white Nancy Pelosi's buying the votes of losers with food stamps and union bailouts. wake up - Washington DC has become a culture of punishing virtue and hard work, and rewarding poor choices, such as the ones General Motors has made.

Dexter is a good guy as far as I'm concerned, he kills people like murderers/rapists, the scum of the earth. I wish someone like that actually existed. (I'm no liberal/democrat either.)
