Hi Meghan, If you try to blend granulated sugar it will scratch the inside of your blender.I would use powdered (icing) sugar. Or you might get away with mixing some butter with granulated sugar and sandwiching your cookies with that but it will not be as good as icing.Or melt some chocolate in the microwave and spread over the biscuits. I hope this helps, all the best. Rab

Chocolate or Vanilla ? i'm undecided the thank you to make vanilla. I even have made the chocolate to ice my sister's cupcakes for her marvel social gathering. Chocolate:factors a million a million/2 cups granulated sugar a million cup water 2 double squares unsweetened chocolate 3/4 stick unsalted butter, room temperature a million teaspoon vanilla extract (selfmade) milk or extra butter for thinning, if mandatory technique a million. mixture sugar and water jointly over severe warmth in a coated pot. Boil till syrup strings. 2. soften chocolate in the microwave. 3. Stir chocolate into the sugar mixture and swap down warmth for 3 minutes, stirring the full time. 4. whilst mixture turns gray, stir in butter. 5. upload vanilla extract and beat with a spoon. 6. upload a splash milk or extra butter if apparently too thick. 7. Knife the icing onto the cake.

you can put your granulated sugar into a food processor, blender or spice grinder to make it finer.
