How does Derek Boogard know if he is being booed?

I'm a Minnesota fan and Boogard played here for a number of years and fans usually cheer for him by yelling "BOOOO". He plays in Minnesota tonight and he wont be booed, but how would he know?

    Different tone......and you are right, he won't be booed (in a negative way).......while in Minnesota, he had the third highest selling jersey among Wild fans.

    There is just a different "vibe" when one is getting booed, rather than cheered.

    If he does something that he knows fans would consider bad, then he'll know.
