Consider a pop, (soda, Coke) a liquid cigarette?

Realize how bad this liquid is for you? Any rebuttal (argument) much appreciated.

Studies like the one referenced will show that 1 can of coke per day will increase your risk for pancreatic cancer the same as the equivalent risk of smoking 7 cigarettes per day. Hmm... kind of hard to rebut your argument except to say that it's far too weak.

Actually I'm going to agree with you completely. For one, it is addictive, some may think not but it's true, you can become addicted to just about anything if you repetitively use it or eat it etc. Two, it's got no nutritional value for the body, it increases your likelihood to become dehydrated because it generally has sugar, and if it's sugar free, it has plenty of other substitutes that act as a sugar. Not to mention erosion of the soft tissue in the stomach lining, esophagus and other organs constantly exposed. It's also hard for the liver to process. Three, it's horrible for your teeth, one single can of mountain dew and produce a cavity in 15 minutes, not to mention destroying your enamel, causing extra sensitivity in the teeth. It recedes the gums as well, and produces plenty of interproximal (between the teeth) decay. Pop has zero benefits.

How is it bad? Especially compared to cigarettes, coke, pepsi and the like are barely harmful at all. They give no long-lasting health effects (as far as I know), they aren't addictive and they taste great!

    Uh, no..

It has carbonated water and like 38 tablespoons of sugar, it's hell for your kidneys and teeth, but it's nowhere near as bad as a cigarette...
