Can you play gameboy games on a Nintendo ds?

On the Nintendo DS Lite and the Orignal Nintendo DS you can play GameBoy Advance games. The DSi, DSi XL, and 3DS cannot. The DS and DS Lite can also play Guitar Hero, use the Rumble Pack, and use certain other accersories that the DSi DSi XL, and 3DS cannot.

You cannot play gameboy games on both the DS and DSi. The DS and DSlite ONLY plays GAMEBOY ADVANCED games. Not gameboy, gameboy color, or anything else games. ONLY GBA games. The DSi can't play GBA games though. It doesn't have a GBA slot. But it does have a camera.
