when i send an IM to somebody, they hear the default aim sound. i want to change that sound to another file i have on my computer. any way i can do that?

and i tried going to SETTINGS and then SOUNDS. this only changes what i hear on my own computer, it doesn't change what i send to other people.

when i go on aim expressions, the sounds they have are very limited.

i can change my buddy icon easily, but i don't know how to use my own sounds that i made.

Just a while ago symantec popped up and found a whole bunch of Trojan horses and bloodhound something. They were all located in the app data temp folder. I restarted my computer and I can't delete stuff. It says delete but it just says that for a long time and when I press cancel it just say a cancel and never does. The same thing happens when I tried to delete my Internet explored history. It just freezes and never deletesmit. But I can delete mozilla history and stuff.

A while back I had 1gb ram and the CPU usage was really high, at least 50% even right after start up. A few months ago I added 2gb more ram and now I have 3gb ram and the CPU usage was less than 10%, even when I had a lot of programs on. Now my CPU usage is at least 50% again. I opened the task manager and looked at the processes and nothing is using that much memory.I added everything up open right now and it uses up 194378k of memory and the CPU usage is at 50~%. Even when I just start up the computer and close all the processes that are useless the CPU usage is still at around 50%.

when i'm downloading stuff, the absolute max is less than 180kb/s. it's fastest speed normally is around ~150kb/s. most of the time is only 100kb/s or less. when i used the speedtest.net it says my download speed is 1.03 Mb/s, but I don't know what that means. Is that 1.03 megabytes a second or megabit?? I don't really know the difference. And when I test the speed on my PS3 download speed tester, it gets about 800kb/s. but when I actually download something it is only like 50-150kb/s. my router is the linksys wrt54gs, the blue one. my ISP is covad. and also, whenver I'm on something like AIM, i always get disconnected. I always get the AOL system message thing that tells me i'm logged on at 2 places, which means i got dced and reconnected again. and sometimes when I download stuff, it gets dced in the middle of it. how do i make the download speed faster and stop this dcing?
