Why do I have random red hairs growing in my black beard?

Don't worry, it's a genetic anomaly. I am 100% Italian yet at 19 I keep finding gray and ginger in my normally dark brown hair.

Because you have a variety of shades of hairs in your beard. I have a dark beard with lighter hairs mixed in. thats just the way some beards grow! Some guys have black hair on their body and their beard is a different shade completely. Enjoy your multicolored beard an your red hairs that glimmer in the light!

My brother and I have this problem when we let our beards grow out over an inch, but is nothing bad. Just means when you're older those red hairs will turn gray. My grandpa had the same problem and now he has gray hair. Few coworkers told me the same thing. I think it looks cool when the light hits your beard it makes it stand out.

Perfectly normal.I am (was) lol dark brown but my beard had red hairs growing through it as well.. Now I'm struggling to keep a few brown hairs among the grey ones..

I have the same case as you do. I'm Filipino by the way. I think its cool that I have random red hairs besides the black ones in my beard, it feels like I'm Dimebag Darrell of Pantera minus the guitar talent. I'm proud of it.
