It's been around for almost a year around here. It's ok. It's a lot smaller than it appears on the pictures. Some people spazed about how "unheatlhy" it is - when in fact it has the same fat and calories than a Big Mac plus a lot more protein. If you get the grilled version, it has less calories than a Big Mac.
Also people spazed about the fact that it doesn't have a bun and, God forbid, your fingers had to actually touch the chicken. Well...people everywhere eat fried chicken with their fingers. So it really isn't a big deal.
I didin't find it all that interesting, to be honest. I'm prefer their doublicious sandwich - which is pretty much the same thing but only one chicken breast and it's on a bun.

I tried one for the first time a few weeks ago and...
...it was delicious. Ok, it may not be the healthiest thing to eat; however, it's not the most UNhealthiest thing to eat either. It wasn't THAT greasy; it certainly wasn't as greasy as an actual piece of their fried chicken. And I found it no worse than ordering 2 pieces of their fried chicken and having a small side. There's maybe 2 thin slices of cheese and 2 (3 at the most) slices of bacon, and just a tiny bit of dressing.
And as long as you (otherwise) eat healthy and get some exercise and only have the Double Down once in a while as a special treat, it's not that bad.

Can you say stroke, clogged arteries, glucose, colesterol, trans fat, wheat glutten, excessive sodium(salt) erthrobates, sulfates, tri-glycerides, chicken bi-products, oh, and let's not forget to mention the excessive steroid and drug induced vitamin proteins, injected into the KFC chickens prior to slaughtering thousands of them to make a single tastey "Double Down" sandwich.

Well I tried that. Now I am ready to try the one that has the hawaiian bun on them.

It does sound good but I haven't tried it yet. I'm just wondering how much grease are you going to get on your hands?
