Diazepamides and their effects?
I have been using diazepine medications to control my anxiety, I know they can become addictive. I would like to know if anyone else has a solution for another medication or any idea what is wrong wth me. Any help or experience would be appreciated. I'm not bipolar or manic. Thanks for any answers from anyone with this condition.

I was taking ativan for a while but because of the risk of dependency I asked my doctor if we could try something else. I have been taking Neurontin for 3 months now and it works great. It's original use is for seizures but has been used off label for anxiety, it's really made a big difference. I take 1800 mg (yes, 1800!) twice a day. I think that's like the max dose but it didn't work as well at the lower, recommended dose so I might be a special case.
