Are Muslim women also searched by the TSA?

This is a valid question. It's not just something Rush said. A Muslim organization here in the US (CAIR) was saying that Muslim women wearing the Hi-jab should be excluded from the scans or pat downs for religious reasons. But the head of the TSA has already stated that no one would get an exemption. Everyone has to do it regardless of religion.

I'm pretty sure they have to be searched like everyone else. Statistically, people think they are the most likely of suspects for the reason people have to go through this sh*t, so it would be highly insulting if they get a free pass.

If they don't want to go through the new scanners, that's fine. It's also fine by me if they miss their flight. Point being: They should get 0 special treatment when it comes to everyone's safety, theirs included. They can deal with a pat-down if they are not comfortable with a scanner; of course, a female doing the inspection.
