Why do Republicans ignore the fact that the economy imploded 4 months before Obama was inaugurated?
and two months before he was elected? Also wasn't Hank Paulson the one who said in August of 2008 that the economy was 'fine'? 1 month later it crashes.
So why is all this put on Obama? Obama is making loads of mistakes but to act as if the economy and unemployment are all his fault is only showing too many people today play party line politics.

Actually, it started in Jan 2007 when Pelosi and Reid and the liberal American haters took over Congress with the express intention of destroying the current USA.

The economy imploded the day after the election results, convenient that you should forget that little tidbit. That is neither here nor there, the economy has been on a tightrope since the dot com bust in 99. Bush's compromises and economic policies managed to keep it from tipping and even had some small creeping growth in there. This all started back a while and is neither bush nor Obamas fault.

there are only a number of your factors nicely worth answering. yet i'll respond to them. on the subject of the minimum salary, -- we are actually in a worldwide industry. what's minimum salary in the U. Seems to me you are doing what you are decrying. You are putting it on Bush...
This situation is not the fault of Bush or Obama. it is the result of massive fraud in the financial sector. The banks regardless of political affiliation are the ones responsible. Both Bush and Obama are responsible for bailing out the banks and helping to cover it up rather than calling for the Justice Department to launch criminal investigations into the matter and bringing the frauds to justice.

This is a funny question. A member of the "blame Bush" brigade is trying to push their methods off as anothers. Perhaps you should go back and look at who was in power, both in Congress and in office of the President for all our past meltdowns. The president is just a scapegoat for what the nimrods in Congress do. And yes, Nimrods is a technical term I'm using for ALL personnel in Congress, not just one party or another.

And Democrats had control of Congress for the 2 years prior to that. The President has very little Control over Congress since he doesn't write the laws. Congress does. I don't blame Obama for this. I blame the Democratic Controlled Congress over the past 4 years for the mess we are in. So do many others, or have you forgotten about the bloodbath Libs took on November 2nd?

It started to implode after the Democrats took control of Congress.
Besides, you Libs blamed Bush for 9/11 so it's only fair that Obama gets blamed for the economy.

Why do Democrats ignore the fact that many prominent liberal figures like Hilary Clinton and John Kerry supported the Iraq war back in 2003 and 2004?
Why do Democrats ignore the fact that Saddam lied about bombing us with WMDs nearly every day?
Why do Democrats ignore the fact that they've had a huge majority over congress since 2006, before the economy crashed? Your time is up, it's the Republicans' turn now.

Selective memory, talking points from the Fox News Channel and Heritage Foundation; hoping Americans are as stupid as they treat them; and my favorite is from the mouth of US Kentucky Senator McConnell: to assure that Obama doesn't have a second term. Never mind the real issues facing the average American: economy, high unemployment, three wars already in affect before the Obama Presidency, and a clasping banking, mortgage and investment industry.

You're right and it was mainly due to the Fannie and Freddie collapse. A collapse we have the Dems in the Senate to thank for. Wait, Obama was a member of that same Senate. So he inherited this mess from himself. Interesting.

The Republican rule of thumb is when Bush was President congress was responsible for everything not the President. Now that Obama is President the President is responsible for everything.
During the years when the Republicans had control of both the congress and the white house everything that went wrong was Bill Clinton's fault.
Nothing is ever the Republicans fault.
