What is the very best BCS ranking that the University of Wisconsin could achieve given the current standings and this weekend's games. What would have to happen for them to achieve this optimal outcome?

I would say the best they can do this week is a fairly close 3rd, and that's if Oregon, Auburn, TCU, Boise State, LSU, and Stanford all lose, and Wisconsin wins. I don't think that a 1-loss Wisconsin would be picked over a 1-loss Auburn team or a 1-loss Oregon team. But Auburn still has to play the conference championship game. If they lose there, then Wisconsin would most likely get in the title game.

We need Ohio State to win out, especially if Michigan State wins. Then they will get to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
