  • Who Can Ask Someone A Question on Ask.FM?

My daughter was getting serious bullying on Ask.FM before I found out she had an account. (Her account has been closed.)

Can I assume that the abuse (in the form of "questions") came from someone on her Ask.FM "friends" list? She had a short friends list, and I'm trying to narrow down where the abuse came from. If you can only get questions from people you've friended, then I know where to start.

    Thanks.

  • Is Romney Like Your Crazy Ex-Fiance?

Remember when you we're engaged to that girl, but you broke it off, and then you found out that she was a crazy lunatic?

That's how America feels about Romney right now.

    It's like, "Whew, close call!"

  • How Many Crankcase Bolts in Briggs & Stratton Engine?

I took apart my Briggs and Stratton engine and replaced the crankcase gasket. When I got things back together, there is one empty bolt hole, so I think I lost one of the bolts that attaches the sump (oil pan) to the crankcase. However, that hole may have been empty all along.

The parts list online doesn't help because it just shows one bolt as an example.

My Question: How many crankcase bolts should there be?

The engine is a Briggs & Stratton model number 12F612-0115-E1, with a code of 021126FA, and it's on a pressure washer.

    Thanks!

  • Use Sump Pump Output Water on the Lawn and Garden?

The part of Wisconsin where I live is in a moderate drought. Voluntary water restrictions may be implemented soon.

At the same time, my basement sump pumps are pumping periodically, and the pumped water goes right into the storm sewer, per local codes.

It would be easy to capture the pumped water in a modified rain barrel and use it for watering my plants and garden. Can you think of any reason why that would not be a good idea?

  • Cat 6 vs Cat 5e Cabling?

I'm putting some network cabling in a couple rooms in my house. Is there any reason why I should NOT use Cat 6? In other words, is there any reason why Cat 5e (or another cable) would be better than Cat 6?

    Thanks.

  • Can A Computer Monitor Be Used as a HDTV?

I have a Dell U2410 24inch monitor. The specs say it can display 1080p, and it has an HDMI in-port. Obviously, the monitor does not have a TV tuner, but could I hook it up to my TimeWarner Cable DVR and watch recorded shows using the DVR's tuner? The Dell service rep suggested I needed "a special adapter" but she couldn't clarify what she meant by that.

I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

  • Five Straight Playoff Games Against Five NFL "Bird" Teams?

The Packers lost to the Cardinals last year in the Wildcard Game.

Last week, the Packers beat the Eagles in the Wildcard Game.

The Packers play the Falcons tomorrow in the Divisional Playoff.

If they Packers and Seattle win this weekend, the Packers would play the Seahawks next week in the NFC Championship.

If the Packers go to the Super Bowl, they could face the Ravens.

Has it ever happened before that a team has faced five different bird-named teams in five consecutive post-season games?

  • How to Remove Tarnish From Aluminum Cookie Sheet?

My kids put our aluminum cookie sheets in the dishwasher, and the detergent left them gray and dull in a tarnished sort of way.

I've tried to remove the tarnish using a variety of household cleaners and mild acids like citrus juice and vinegar. No luck.

How can I get the dishwasher tarnish off of my aluminum cookie sheets?

  • What's Your Opinion on This Dog Kennel?

We had to use a new kennel when we traveled for the holidays. Our old kennel closed.

We dropped off our black lab on the Dec 23rd. They said that there was someone on site 24/7. There were about 15 dogs there when we dropped off.

We came home 2 days early, on Jan 1st, so we went over to pick up our dog at 5:30pm. We did not call first to notify them we were coming.

We found nobody at the kennel, and our dog was the only dog there, and he was locked in the main "play room", with no access to his crate. The lights were all off and the front door was locked. I was very concerned for our dog's safety, so I found an unlocked back door, and I went in to rescue him. I left a voicemail asking the kennel to call me at once so I arrange to pay my bill and pick up the crate. Two days later, and we haven't heard from them.

I will never use this kennel again, but I have to pick up our crate. What would you do? What thoughts do you have about this situation?

  • Math Word Problem for Extra Credit?

Three guests check into a hotel room. The clerk says the bill is $30, so each guest pays $10. Later the clerk realizes the bill should only be $25. To rectify this, he gives the bellhop $5 to return to the guests. On the way to the room, the bellhop realizes that he cannot divide the money equally. As the guests didn't know the total of the revised bill, the bellhop decides to just give each guest $1 and keep $2 for himself.

Now that each of the guests has been given $1 back, each has paid $9, bringing the total paid to $27. The bellhop has $2. If the guests originally handed over $30, what happened to the remaining $1?

  • Ever Buy from SecretsInLace.com?

I'm thinking of buying a few items from SecretsInLace.com for my wife's 50th birthday. She prefers classy, well-made lingerie. She's not a fan of the trendy stuff.

If you have bought anything from SecretsInLace.com, can you please tell me if you were satisfied with the quality of the items? Also, please tell me your age, if you don't mind.

    Thanks.
