Do you think i'm being scammed ?
I saw this posting online about a car that's being sold on Craigslist. I emailed the guy and asked for a phone number. He said he is in the military, that currently he's at his base and can't make or receive calls ? He said he's enrolled on ebays buyer protection program. I don't have an eBay account and I told him I needed to set one up, to wich he replied I didn't need one that I could send him my full name, address and phone number and that he would enroll me ?? He has send me pictures and in his email he put he's a sgt. in pendleton Mc base 402nd afsb brigade ? I don't feel completely sure about this since he didn't give me A number to reach him ? Does he sound trustworthy or not ? I need opinions, thanks in advance.

100% SCAM and one that's all over Craiglist at the moment
http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams
Scroll down and read the "actual scam emails sent to Craiglist users" and it's right there
There is NO such thing as Ebay Buyer Protection - and why in the hell would Ebay work with a Craiglist listing when Ebay and Craigslist are competitors
He is not a Sgt - those are pictures of some innocent soldier who has no idea his pictures were stolen from his facebook page. You can email the base yourself who will confirm there is no such soldier there or that the real soldier is not selling any car http://www.aschq.army.mil/home/402.aspx
Email:402dAFSB@MMCS.army.mil is the main email address of the 402nd brigade
And the 402nd is and ARMY base located in Joint Base in Balad, Iraq.
Pendleton MC is a MARINE base camp in San Diego California (the MC means Marine Corps)- not in Iraq and certainly not associated with the Army so there's even more proof it's a scam - the scammer is too stupid to even give you accurate base information
If he's not emailing you from a .mil email address then he's not in the military.

It's 100% false that anyone on base can't make or receive calls. Pure BS. My friend's husband is in Iraq and they speak on the phone or by Skype every single day
DO NOT send any information - there is NO car. All that will happen is that your identity will be stolen
You can do an IP search that will prove he is nowhere near where he pretends to be located - either Iraq or San Diego http://aruljohn.com/info/howtofindipaddress/
