Dick Grayson in Young Justice?

Being a younger comic reader, I don't have much experience with Dick Grayson as Robin. I was wondering how his portrayal (writing, acting, directing, personality, all that) stood up against how he was in the comics. I understand that he has a very long history and has probably gone though as many reinventions as Batman himself (Dick being Batman now being one of those reinventions o.o). I just want to know if it was loyal.

I only really know Dick as Robin from the animated Teen Titans series.

Update:

Actually mate, you need to read farther. Dick didn't go back to being Nightwing after Bruce returned. He's still Gotham's Batman.

He wasn't quite as independent and headstrong in the comics as he is portrayed now. Back then he was known solely as Batman's sidekick. Even when the Teen Titans started in the comic books it was difficult to think of Robin without the preface of "Batman and".

if you read the comics, dick wasnt as smart mouthed and as witty as he is in the cartoons or for a more specific example, young justice that came on tonight, dick would have never smarted off to batman the way he did in the tv show and actually have meant it, that was more of jason todds thing, the second robin, however once dick started to get older and realize that eh wanted to do more than just be in batmans shadow, he did become more rebellious and smartellic like he is portrayed now which forced batman to ride him more which ultimatley lead to dick quitting robin and becoming nightwing which is when he found out that batman was right about everything and became sort of like a distant side-kick to him

with him as batman now is more like a place holder, bruce wayne and a few more heroes died while fighting darkside and dick automaically took over being batman for bruce because thats the way he had wanted it from the day he took dick in after his parents died, but if youcontinue reading you will find out that brue and the other heroes are raised from the dead and bruce remumes being batman and dick goes back to being nightwing, so its not really a reinvention

dick has remained pretty much the same over the years, but the reason he is always the robin in branch off tv shows and comics like teen titans or young justice is because he was originally supposed to be the first and only robin there ever was, then the people wanted to give him a new twist so they reinvented him as nightwing, then the public got tired of there not being a robin and began to stop reading the comics so they created jason todd who was eventually killed off by the joker because the fans didnt like him and his disrespectful ways and they added tom drak, the third robin, all of them keeping the same basic principle that dick had
