36+3 weeks pregnant, period cramps?

This morning I have been getting period like cramps in my lower left abdomen. Has anyone else had this? Is it normal? Should I be worried? All advice/info gratefully received. Many thanks x

It is normal. It is just your body preparing for labour. This sort of feeling can go on for 4 weeks.

If it gets really painful or you have any bleeding or bubs isn't moving around then def contact your doctor or midwife, otherwise I wouldn't be concerned

appears like braxton hicks contractions. You are nonetheless early to give but. Real contractions consider like unhealthy interval cramps on your again after which they transfer for your entrance. Also, truly contractions are patterned, like contraction, five minutes. contraction, 7 minutes., contraction, five minutes. If your little one does not transfer to move down function, you could have a c-segment besides. I'm 36 weeks and my little one has been head down for eight weeks now. Call your dr. if you're quite worried. Good Luck!

Hi, it can be normal to have some cramping during pregnancy.

It doesn't mean it is the start of labour.

If you have no other symptoms, then I wouldn't worry too much.

If you have concerns, then contact your midwife or Doctor.

if you're 3 weeks, you could be spotting or just having a tiny left over period. you don't have to bleed, it can just be cramps. i believe i had this too.
