How do I know if I'm pushing myself hard enough at the gym?
I've been working out 3-5times a week for the last 2 months now and I used to hate it. It was easy to push myself because everything was hard and I couldn't even run 30minutes straight. Now that I'm in better shape and I actually like going, I don't know if I'm pushing hard enough. It's easier to tell with doing weights, but with cardio I can't tell if I'm pushing myself hard enough. I'm thinking that i should introduce an incline instead of focusing on speed (I run 3miles in 28minutes). And because I keep getting faster each run and because I feel great after I run, I feel almost guilty because I think I should feel like crap.
Should I be feeling like crap after my run???

You shouldn't be guilty because you don't feel like crap after running. If you keep improving, there is no problem. 3 miles in 28 minutes is very good if you're not an athlete. Be happy. Judging by the incline comment, you're running on a treadmill, so if you want to increase the intensity, increase the speed or incline. If you want to improve your endurance, keep the speed and incline the same but run for a longer period of time. If you want to keep improving, then just make sure you improve something, even if it's 0.1 mph faster per week, 1% incline per week, or a minute more of running each week. Or, if you just want to maintain, then keep doing what you're doing.

try and run 3miles in less time than your doing now either cut the amount of days you work out or switch them around so you are not on the same routine
