American Girl Dolls: Historical vs My American Girl?
My daughter is still a little young for these dolls, but as they are retiring Felicity and Elizabeth this year I was thinking of buying Elizabeth and putting the doll away until next Christmas. For parents whose children play with these dolls: does your daughter prefer the Historical dolls or the My American Girl made to look like her? Which dolls have you purchased?

I prefer historical since they have a story and your daughter can learn about the past and have fun with the doll. On the other hand I also like My american girl because you can name them and stuff, but it's personally up to you. :)

My daughter has never been a big AG fan, she preferred the My Twinns but she seemed to like the historical dolls better because of the accessories and of course the horses.
Even if your daughter doesn't get into AG dolls later , Elizabeth is a good investment.
