Could i have anorexia?
Ok so im 16 and recently ive been eating hardly anything. Im not doing it on purpose and im not starving myself, my stomach just cant hold much anymore. I can have about 3 spoonfuls ofcereal or a piece of toast for breakfast in the morning before i feel bloated. Not only am i not eating but i also feel sick all the time and ive lost 6 pounds in about a week. Could this be anorexia or am i just going through a stage? Thanks!

Technically yes you might have anorexia, but you don't have it in the way you mean. Anorexia just means that you don't want to eat. That might be because of a psychological condition (anorexia nervosa) or it might have some other cause.
In your case it doesn't sound as though the cause is psychological. Perhaps you got a sickness bug, but the symptoms weren't very severe. That would also account for you feeling sick all the time. Normally people recover from this type of illness without problems, but if it lasts too long (or gets too unpleasant) you'll need to see your doctor.
Finally, if you can drink fluids, do. You'll feel better if you can avoid becoming dehydrated.

Not anorexia. To be anorexia, you would have to do it intentionally. It's not just something you catch, its actually a mental disorder- a malfunction in the way you perceive body image and weight. Unless you are purposely hold back from eating because you feel that you're overweight, it's not anorexia. But of course, only you know that.
Good luck

You do not have anorexia. Anorexia is a mental illness that stems from a combination of an inability to process emotions and a low self-image and other mental factors. However, it does sound like you have a physical issue. Perhaps you're having digestive problems. I think you should ask a doctor.

it doesn't sound like anorexia, just loss of apetite maybe, if your not purposely doing it to hurt yourself then it is not an illness as such, maybe stress? or anxiety or flu, or possibly just a stage. 6 pounds it quite a bit, you should focus on eating healthly, if it means taking longer to eat then do so, you don't want to become malnourished. x
