Are suede boots waterproof???? HELP?

Question

I'm going on a ski trip and i need cheap waterproof boots i found some at k mart but im not sure if they are waterproof so i need some help i don't want to waterproof them myself and i need them cheap i don't want to spend over 30.00 (that includes shipping) and i would rather them be from a store (like k mart, jc penny, payless, ect.) and can insulated boots keep my feet dry and warm?

Unless suede boots specifically state that they are water proof then they aren't and water will ruin them

no those kmart boots are not water proof because even in the how to clean they say to only brush or wipe clean

Even if you buy suede boots that aren't waterproof, you can buy spray that will help to make them water proof. I  bought cheap "ugg" boots last year and bought the spray and they lasted me all winter. You can find spray at wal-mart, target, etc...

Yea you can use UGG waterproofing spray. You can also use scotch guard or something along those lines. Be sure to read the directions of the product you try to double check that it will work.

No, suede soaks up the water, makes your feet freezing and wet, and it gives them water stains and makes them all hard. Not fun :/

they arent insulated they are water resistant but that is all. i would suggest moon boots.
