Help with rating UC's?

I just applied to transfer to the following UCs as an economics major:

Davis

Santa Barbara

Santa Cruz

Irvine

San Diego

SD is my top choice, but I don't have a 2nd, 3rd, etc choice. Could anyone tell me how I can research these schools to determine which is best for me, or if you already know about the economics department at any of these schools? Thanks.

    In my opinion, I'd say...

    UCSD

    UC Davis

    UC Santa Barbara/UC Irvine

    UC Santa Cruz

    I can give you an overall ranking, but not one specific to economics. I would say that after UCSD, Davis would be second best, followed by Irvine, then Santa Barbara, and finally Santa Cruz.
