My sister is planning a "BIG REDNECK WEDDING" need some ideas...?

Umm alright to each their own I guess

My ideas:

Have the wedding at home or in a feild by a barn

Have BBQ for dinner including things like hamburger and hotdogs along with TONS of fried foods

Have an open bar with a keg and beer cans that go in the tins

Play alot of redneck country, patriotic and rock and roll music Have the cermony with haybales (fabric over the top)

Have the wedding in the fall using daisies, sunflowers, wheat and other "twig" type stems

Have your ride away of course be in a truck the rustier the better or a four wheeler or horse

Use a lot of checkerboard patterns

If you have quilts hang them up

have american and nascar flags hung up somewhere

If you have strung lights hang beer cans on it too

Cake:

Have it made out of hostess products(twinkies, hohos, cupcakes etc) or donuts

Redneck Wedding Dress

Im a teenager but I have always told my dad that he wont need to worry about spending a fortune on an a wedding I want to have a "redneck" wedding :)

I would say some type of western style wedding dress and boots on the bride, for the groom maybe a western tux or nice shirt and jeans with boots and a cowboy hat. (I'm being tasteful redneck here, not tacky redneck, lol). Food; fried chicken and corn on the cob. Decor; barn, hay bails, maybe some horses in/around the area, or in an open field with trees/wildflowers. OR in the middle of a field of hay that's been bailed. lol lots of choices.

My favorite was a wedding cake made out of twinkies and hostess cupcakes...which would be RAD for your sisters wedding!! And extremely inexpesive...google twinkie wedding cake.

They def need beer in cans...the cheaper the better. Wild Turkey Whiskey(or whichever American made booze they prefer) haha white lightning moon shine

A new trend in weddings is photobooths...a lot of props are involved which is fun...mustaches and monacles on sticks, boas, ect....

maybe you could place a backdrop at the reception site and have a DIY photobooth have extremely redneck props...black straws cut into bits(to slide over teeth to make look like missing teeth)

Straw hats or trucker hats, corncob pipes, billy bob teeth, mullet wigs, anything NASCAR...oh man the list could go on and on

Depending how redneck your sister wants this shindig you could really play it up with the food

Sloppy Joes, Spam, Mountain Dew, fried green okra, fried green tomatoes, fried potatoes (pretty much stick anything in fryer and presto! pure redneck.

Fried Oreos!! yum!
