Why am I redirected from EVERY website I try to go to?

If I do a google search, say for "dogs" and I click the link to go to a webpage I am redirected to random websites. At first they had similar key words, like it would be a website selling dog tags, but now they're completely random. At first I could right click and open in a new tab and it wouldn't do it, but now it still redirects. The only time it doesn't redirect is if I copy/paste or type the address. It happens every single time now, and the websites are completely random- why do I get the feeling that it's gotten more effective?

Oh, and if I click the inverted triangle to see my back pages, it says "Redirect"

WTF?

Can you help me out?

You probably have malicious software on your computer. If you know how, go to "Tools" or "Options" in your browser and delete your cookies, history, and cached files. That's a quick fix that often works.

If that doesn't fix the problem (and perhaps even if it does), I recommend TrendMicro Housecall. This service scans your computer for free and removes or quarantines any malicious software infections. It doesn't take too long if you have a good internet connection. There's a small file it downloads, then runs on your computer. Totally free and fixes most problems in a couple clicks. I swear by it. I've fixed my stepdad's computer innumerable times with it (it is updated more often than McAfee I think).

Then, if you do a lot of browsing, consider getting an antivirus software. AVG is highly rated by geeks everywhere, and is totally free. This would need to be installed to your computer and allowed to run in the background, so if you have a full hard-drive or a really crummy processor it may not be the best solution.

My netbook is super crummy, so I just go onto the TrendMicro website every month and do a quick scan of my laptop for any viruses, trojans or malware.

well you got your self a bad one. try to install firefox. it isnt as effected by viruses as IE. malewarebytes is the best of the best, and if you updated it after you installed, that shouldve worked. i would try calling mcaffe, and asking them to remotely connect to your machine. if you have the "anti-virus2009 or 2010" virus then your prett screwed and the would be your only help besides complete reinstall or computer shop.
