Spiritually speaking, if the state took over my child support, but doesn't enforce the order, what rights do I?

...have?

He has been reported to the credit bureau so far, but that does nothing, his credit is shot anyway. Is there anything I can do to help enforce the order?

I will add that he makes about $700 a week, just bought (and insures) a pretty red Fire-bird, and moved into a new apartment so his new girlfriend can live with him.

Sorry about the mis-category, law and ethics has almost no traffic.

You can feed the States Child Support Enforcement Office any new information regarding his place of employment, residence etc. you may get...

You can make calls/visits to the CSEO regularly <once a month or so> to keep your case on their minds..

You can plan to never get the money as the chances are slim, move on supporting yourself and your child/children, if the state is able to collect it will be sent on to you, consider it a one time windfall anytime it arrives..

You can consider yourself lucky to be rid of him and lucky to have taken the best of the relationship <the child/ children> with you...

File an order with the CSEO naming both you and your child in the case as co-petitioners, doing so will allow the case to more easily transfer to your child and their guardian should anything happen to you, it also enables a seamless transfer when your child reaches the age of majority <typically 18 in the US.>

My ex owes upward of $75.000.00 <haven't done the figure on it in about 2 years.. could be a bit more> in back child support, in order to hide he's put everything in his new wife's name from their house, to their cars, to his business, on paper he doesn't own anything.. I often wonder how he would take it should she decide to walk as he will be left with nothing....

I dont know what the credit bureau has to do with child support. but in North Carolina you can go to social services and they will get your money and put him in jail if he doesn't pay.

It depends on your jurisdiction. I'd suggest calling legal aid, and asking them what your options are.

Since they would easily attach his wages, you are leaving something out of this little story.
