How do you re-bleach roots on red dyed hair?

I dyed my hair bright red a while ago, and now the roots are starting to show through, how can I re-dye the roots? will I have to bleach them and leave them for a week or so (looking a bit strange with red hair and blonde roots) or can I do bleach it and then dye it red on the same day?

Just rebleach the roots, and you can color the same day...The damage is always going to be the same, No matter what. There isn't any need to wait.
