    BCS Natl Championship games

    SEC 6 wins 0 losses.

Cam Newton cannot, do you hear me, CANNOT be stopped by anybody and it pains me to say it because I'm an ALabama fan but the fact is Newton is better than Tebow. Oregon has a very small undersized defensive line, their offense hasnt been nearly as impressive in the last month. They peaked back in October. And the whole "weak SEC" argument is laughable because the Pac 10 has NOBODY other than Oregon and Stanford. Auburn will win by 3 TDS.

Oregon. Since both teams have amazing offenses, the game will be decided by which team's defense manages to get more 3rd and 4th down stops or turnovers, and I think that Oregon will do just that. Also, the SEC has only won the last 4 championships, not 5. Edit: I concede that Auburn's star athlete is very impressive, and well deserving of the Heisman, BUT The great thing about Oregon is that the ball is easily spread around the whole offense. We don't just have James that you can key in on and shut down. If you shut down James, Darron Thomas will keep the ball or give it to Kenjon or Huff or pass it to one of the many very talented receivers we have. Yes, we have a star player, but we don't rely on LaMichael to carry our team the way Auburn relies on Newton. In my eyes, the Oregon and Auburn offenses are just about equal, with the edge going to Oregon. In all honesty, Auburn's secondary has been ripped to shreds several times this season, and Oregon will take advantage of their weakness there. As for Nick Fairly, I suspect that he will pose some problems for Oregon's offense, especially early in the game, but he is just one guy. If nothing else works, Oregon can just run plays to the other side of the field, away from Fairly. I am willing to put money on the fact that Fairly will be sucking wind by the fourth quarter and his presence will not be felt in the latter portions of the game.

I really dont feel as if Oregon can pull this off. Their offensive power has been exposed to have just as many weaknesses as Auburn's, only difference is Cam Newton has thus far been unstoppable and has imposed his will against every team he has played, Oregon has struggled against some questionable teams like Cal... Their speed WILL be matched by Auburn, SEC teams are not chumps when it comes to speed but Auburn just seems like a much more motivated team, they overcame some incredible obstacles this year including an offensively superior Alabama and defensively superior LSU. True the SEC is in a down year with Florida and Georgia temporarily out of the picture, but the SEC champion has not lost a bowl yet in the BCS era, this includes Auburn.

I also hate to see that accusations are what lead people to judge another, he was declared innocent by the SEC, NCAA and Auburn yet he is still scrutinized for simply being accused, doesn't matter what was actually proven apparently

My heart goes with Auburn my brain goes with Oregon. What makes Oregon so good is how they dominate the 4th quarter and the overall speed at every position. Cam Newton will need to have a game for the ages if they plan on beating Oregon.

You seem not to have noticed: the national championship game is generally played in Atlanta in early December, and the champion then plays an additional (exhibition) game in January, just to remind the rest of the country where real college football is played.

Oregon will win, and it will be sweet justice since the cheating Scam Newton and the rest of the tigers, war eagles or whatever those mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging inbreds call themselves don't even deserve to be there!

Auburn should roll. They are an incredible team, and Gene Chizik will have them ready to play.
