How many of you think Assange's trial is a kangaroo court?

One of the women accused him of forcing herself on her and then forcing himself on her 4 days later. I dunno about you but if a man forced himself on me once, I wouldn't go back for seconds. Assange is vilified but it seems to me we should be angry at our government for lying to us about the wars. Torture is condoned and thousands of under reported civilians casualties.

BQ: Does the left now condone the very abuses (TSA & more wars) they attacked under Dubya?

Update:

Edit: WILL BE.....Typo, folks. That's all you got, prolly.

'Tis a kangaroo court indeed. It IS all they've got on him...as far as I'm concerned, he's a hero, he's done what *real* journalists *used* to do- expose the truth. And yeah, I've been angry at the government for about 10 years now. Thank you, Julian Assange, for making that HUGE sacrifice for the truth!!!

If a man like this could get ahold of this top secret information how well do you trust the goverment having all of yours? And as far as these alleged charges, I think they are bogus and just another excuse to get him off the radar with his info. I do not believe he had the right to publish this stuff but then maybe the people who wrote it will stop already.

I don't think he will get a fair trial. I also am suspicious how he was suddenly a rapist after having hurt the US government. I don't really care for him and don't really care what happens to him.

Not everyone on the Left does but many are now getting paid to condone them.

    Zee-ster,

I think we all need to see where this all goes but, having said that we don't know that he's forced himself on anybody yet. Last I heard that's for the courts to find out. But I do know that by releasing sensitive information in the manner in which he did has put sensitive information and those who gather it in a very sensitive position, by putting their lives in danger. But, let's wait and see what happens in the courts.

Dude, the man got no due process--Sen Lieberman calls up Amazon and they dump him without notice.

The charges were dropped in Sweden by one prosecutor and then picked up by another one. That reeks of "set up" to me. Abusers hate it when they are exposed and the ruling elites of the world are all in it together on getting Assange in order to bully us all into staying plugged into their matrix ( world view).
