air conditioner question remote useage and manuals?

i have a sears window air conditioner unit i got at an auction and i would like to know if this model used or came with a remote? and if anyone knows where i might get the operators manual. yes sears has them but there maybe an online location for free. and if someone has this type of a/c can you tell me if the remote will turn on and off the unit? the model number is 580.79056891 thanks for any help outside of the people just looking for points

    You would need to contact Sears customer support for that kind of information. Call their 1-800 number and ask for Click Buckly.

    I would contact Sears. It comes new with a remote.
