Got a question for SEC fans?

OK, I am a Big 12 fan firstly but I respect the SEC. SEC has been the strongest conference for a few years now. And much the same for years now I have heard the double standard "Put them in the SEC and they won't win any games" Mostly this is said regarding teams with big offenses and sub par defenses. Isn't that what Auburn is this year? Their defense is terrible. Not even ranked in the top 50. But their offense is really good. All their games have been high scoring affairs.

I guess what I am trying to say is this is what happens when a team with a really good offense gets put in the SEC. We all know this Auburn team isn't like what most teams in the SEC are used too and they struggled to defend them.

The thing about Auburn is their Defense is bad in numbers. But when the game is on the line, they have been about the best in College Football. But let me say this. When you hear someone say "if they were in the SEC"they are mainly talking about these smaller Confence teams that go 12-0 or 11-1 in a weak Conference and think they belong with the Big 3(SEC,Big 12,and Big 10).

The fact is that "with great power comes great responsibility." However, the SEC fans have shown no responsibility and a lot of the classless ones tend to stand out over the level-headed ones. The SEC fans just love to brag and boast about the 4-straight BCS National Championships. The last two involved Big 12 teams, though. People don't remember that. Sure, the objective is to win, but just to be involved in the game is great. Fans disagree, though. I see it as a sign that your program and conference is good....very good. Winning ONE game on a neutral field is not enough for me to criticize any other conference for losing that ONE game on a neutral field. Essentially, (lunatic) SEC fans love to point out winning a single game on a neutral field while also criticizing teams like Boise State, Utah, and TCU for doing the exact same thing. Hypocrisy.

The real thing is the SEC great defense has fallen off as a whole. The entire confrence was averaging over 30 points a game. They scored tons of points on each other due to the lack of any defense at all. So for all those saying how great the D in the SEC is get real the stats speak for themselves they were one of the worst confences Defensewise this year

Actually look at all the conferences. Offense is up and defense is down. Auburn wouldn't even be in any discussions if they didn't have Newton.

im a tennessee fan, but i hate the sec. i agree too. the only really good team they faced was arkansas, but their defense was worse than auburns. auburn had way too many breaks. last second win against clemson, lucky win over bama. theyve escaped from so many teams though.

So you're saying Big 12 teams could make it in the SEC?

The thing is Auburn has Cam Newton, other teams don't...
