how many frames per second is the typical web cam feed?

    The recording process is done at 30fps for a decent webcam.

    The streaming on another computer will depend on the network signal.

    If its week, it could be 1fps or less.

    And up to 30fps for a better signal.

    it depends on the internet connection speed and the latency. 24-30 Fps is (normal) perfect for chatting. but there are web cams which can produce 30-60fps (if u like DIY u can use ur normal Camera as a webcam) but its useless if u have a slow internet connection.

    i would suspect that is governed more by the computer than by the cam. another answer for 'typical' might depend on 'typical for what year of manufacture?' this thing says i gotta lotta punctuation. f^%@# this thing. Let's go Veggie shopping!

    Meant to be about 25-30 but I doubt you will ever see that as it's dependent on internet bandwidth.
