    Hi

The question put up by you has a lot of answers, because there is no other clue provided by you. Beginning from the first steps of the troubleshooting that we carry out after checking the connections are as follows:

    1. Check the monitor (if possible with another computer) to figure out if it is faulty or it is the fault of the CPU itself.

    2. If you do not have another computer to check your monitor, try to listen to the beep sounds from the CPU if there is any. You will hear three beep sound in general with all computer for faulty display device itself.

    3. If you do not hear any beep sound, open your CPU and check for the voltage level of the coin cell on the motherboard. It should be between 2.8 to 3.2 Volts. If not change the coin cell with the same numbered coin cell. If the voltage it fine, try to reset the BIOS setup with the reset jumper on the motherboard. You can get that by following the motherboard's manual if provided by the computer or else search for it with the model number printed on the motherboard on internet.

    3. Try to hear any soft whistling sound from the monitor if it is a CRT. It will lead to the faulty monitor.

    4. Rests are all electronics troubleshooting that will be carried out by any trained mechanic to repair monitor.

    Cheers!

display is having a connecting wire with the CPU.

The same problem came to me also about 6 months back.. it is not a scary thing.

the wire may have been disconnected.. you only take the monitor to the repair shop, he will connect the wire..

primarily check all the cables for any loose connections. If you connect your monitor to ups check weather the ups is supplying power to the monitor..if the prblem still persists buy new graphics card ..
