You are a skilled doctor. One day, two emergency cases are

rushed in to you at the same time. One is your country's crown

prince, and the other is your own son. Both are in critical

condition. Whichever you pick, the other will surely die.

If you save the prince, you will be a national hero, celebrated

throughout the land... In exchange for your son. But if you save

your son, you and your family will be persecuted as traitors.

Who will live and who will die?

The last time I checked you can't operate on immediate family so saving your son is out of the question.

I would rather choose my son over the prince or w/e... since he means nothing to me, My son, will be my families future after I die and also, I've been taking care of him since he was born, so That means I'll be very emotionally attached to him.. Besides, I can just run away from the country Lol :P

Actually you have the assistance of the highly skilled EMT's who just arrived, as well as your highly trained Triage staff of nurses - doing an equal triage on two people is relatively simple - stabilize them, and get them into surgery ASAP - that's what Emergency rooms do - pour the morphine to them, to ease the pain, stop the bleeding rapidly - either by tourniquet or cauterizing - this situation is easily manageable - and emergency staff do it all the time - as to who they are - not relevant -

I'd put the crown prince in deep freeze and explain convincingly that one day technology will exist to thaw him out. Then I'd save my son. (If I happen to still be alive when/if they thaw out then prince I'll still get to be a hero.)

Self preservation and reason dictates that I save the prince in hopes of having another son.

I'd probably kill them both and then myself just for fun.

Skilled doctor? Surely you could save both at the same time? :-)

If I'm that skilled of a doctor, why don't I have assistants to help me with cases like this?

Gotta be a crap country to have just one freakin' doctor.
