life is good! asked in PetsCats · 1 decade ago

I'm moving to hawaii. why can't i take my cats with me?

Update:

I read on the internet that I would not be allowed to bring my Bengal cat in. She is fixed, is an indoor cat, and has had all her shots and like my other cat, a big tabby, is well loved and cared for! So why not?

    Because they're a Hawaiian delicacy.

I used to live in Hawaii. Well you can, but it would cost a lot. Since there are no rabies in Hawaii, it takes A LOT to get any animals on Hawaii. To get my dogs there when I lived there they had to go through a series of shots many months in advance to going there and it cost a lot. So, you might be able to find a way. :)

Your cats will kill the songbirds on the island. There is a big problem with cats on the islands. Personally, I would get rid of Skippy and live the high life.
