This issues looking printer head problem. check the following Steps for cleaning printer head :

Click on the Start button if you have Windows XP. If you have Windows Vista, click the Windows icon that resides in the lower left corner of your computer screen.

Click on "Control Panel," then "Printers and Other Hardware." Finally click on "View Installed Printers or Fax Printers."

Right-click on the name of your printer and choose "Printing Preferences." This should open a new window; next look for a tab or button marked Maintenance, or something similar.

Find the button that says "Print heads" or "Clean the Print heads" and click on it. You may be asked to choose which print heads; choose them all if you are. Make sure there is paper and ink in your printer, and that it is turned on ahead of time.

Take out the page your printer has printed and see if there are any grids or boxes missing. If there aren't, then you can just exit the program--your print heads are not clogged. If there are grids missing, then click on the "Cleaning" or similarly worded button.

Once the cleaning process has completed, print another page to be sure that your print heads are no longer clogged. If they are still clogged, repeat Steps 1-5 until your printer is printing clearly.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:

1.) Check all of your connections, make sure that your printer is connected and turned on.

2.)If everything is connected, then disconnect everything, power the printer on, hook it up to pc and then turn on the printer. While turning the printer on, watch your pc to make sure it recognizes that a piece of hardware was connected, if it doesn't then you may have a bad printer cable. If it does, check the message, it should tell you if something is wrong.

3.)If the printer shows up correctly, then try your print again.

4.)If print still doesn't work, get your device name/type, etc, and then go to google (preferable), or yahoo, bing, etc, and type in "Drivers for [printer name here]"

5.)Download and install all necessary drivers.

6.)If this doesn't work then contact the tech support for your printer make, i.e. hp, canon, etc.

    Hope this helps.

Okay. You probably have too many printing jobs pending, so all you have to do is go to the bottom right corner of your screen. You should see a printer icon. Right click on it and select printer jobs or whatever. There you will see the jobs pending. Delete the jobs and after that, turn your printer off adn back on again, this should work.

Open up the printing queue where it shows you what's waiting to print. There might be a file stuck in the queue that refuses to go away. Select all files in the queue and right click then select delete.

They may not delete off the list but then you should power off your printer and unplug the USB cable. Power the printer back on and plug it back in to the USB port. Hopefully your printing queue will be clear and when you go to print your document it will print out.

OK, your paper setup is good for A4. Go to Print Preview. If it is OK there, then click Print and then Properties in the drop down box. Now check you paper size and orientation. If that does not work then try right clicking on the map in the Work document and Save Picture As. Then you save the map. Now you can insert it into a blank PowerPoint slide, save it as a jpeg. Then open the jpeg and print it.

Open up your printer's case, remove the old toner or ink cartridge, buy a new toner or ink cartridge, install it, and then close the printer's case.

Maybe you need more toner or paper.
