Why Torres is struggling?
Is it because of 4-4-2? Is it because of Roy Hodgson?

there is not enough creativity or collective brilliance amongst others in our team, to forge a 'quartet' mini team where Torres and 3 others can play so they all compliment each others brilliance and ultimately give Torres a breather as he realises there are others in the team who are REALLY able to appreciate and exploit his own strengths and world class ability.
Torres would be in flying form right now if he was in Spain with a decent spanish side.
He knows this, but he has embraced a challenge and his loyalty lays with Liverpool FC and their fans. For now anyway.
I do feel there might come a time soon in his career where he will wish to leave the club , one way or another - and indirectly give us the impression 'i did my very best as a player for the team and the club, and i can do no more - i wish to go now, thanks for everything' ....and if the team doesn't start playing the kind of football where Torres can REALLY show off what he can do on a REGULAR basis then I won't hold it against him nor will I begrudge the Spanish Wizard.
One thing we should not forget or dismiss lightly, is the impact niggling injuries and absences from first team football as a result, have a on a player of Torres's class.
I don't care who you are in the game, whether youre Drogba, Ronaldo, Rooney or Messi - if you have the kind of injuries and absences from football Torres has had recently then it will take time for you to reach peak fitness and regain confidence, especialy if your side is struggling in competitions.
Torres lacks a bit of sharpness which he will very quickly get back - and once Gerrard and Carragher return, you will see a rejuvenated, FRESH and Dangerous Liverpool side who will begin to play the kind of football that saw them push United all the way for the title in 2008/09.
Once the side gets another run of results going again, we'll be looking like serious contenders for 4th again. Especialy when we strengthen our squad in the Jan Transfer Window, then watch us and where we go.
I'll also start EXPECTING my team to begin destroying teams (regardless of who they are and irrespective of their league positions) by scorelines such as 3,4 and 5-0 at home and away later on in the season, and feel one of the big four is in for obliteration at Anfield. Fingers crossed its Fergies United cos their fans REALLY need to see it happen to them lmao, and cos i'd rather see anyone but them win the league this year haha :-D
thats all i shall say on Fernando Torres Liverpools number 9 ! ^_^
all the best

lots to think approximately. First, the honeymoon remains on in l. a.. 60 video games would not make a season. in the event that they stay under .500 as you're saying, i do no longer think of that's going to likely be an argument, this year. in spite of the undeniable fact that, any supervisor is incredibly only as sturdy as his roster, payroll no longer withstanding. Frankly i think of the importance of a supervisor is over emphasised. the certainty is a supervisor might, and that i say might dictate the effect of a interest possibly 10 or 12 circumstances during the season. The strikes a supervisor makes is so automated that the gamers themselves ought to do it without assistants. Many "super mangers" in no way gained something. The checklist is long yet they are nonetheless seen super. Why no longer positioned Torres call between them. the reality that he has gained 10 branch titles, 6 pennants and four international sequence will overshadow any issues he might or would possibly no longer run into in l. a.. No, to those who're followers of Joe Torres, his legacy is genuinely no longer tarnished. to those who disliked him and the Yankees that's already tarnished. they'll continuously say that the $220M payroll gained all those championships, no longer Joe Torre.

He's way off form and doesn't look interested anyway. Maybe the latest injuries have really took their toll on him? Torres needs to be benched, his lack of effort is worrying but not as much as his poor touch and lack of pace. I've had enough of him strolling through games. He seems to think that he is undroppable, or better still when he leaves Liverpool, it will be through his choice rather than ours.
Babel and N'Gog looked good together 2 weeks ago against Villa, should we consider them as the starting 2 for the Fulham game and take Torres out of the firing line for a little while?

It's because of the style of play (which is down to Hodgson) the chronic groin injury (which is down to the Spanish national team) and the poor quality of a large proportion of the squad (which is down to Hicks and Gilette)
