Fiance Visa, Original copies...Please help!!!?

I am a sponsor for a Fiance Visa. My fiance is in India, in the process of submitting all of our application & evidence but I need to get all of the original copies of our evidence sent off to him.

Im unsure what originals I should be sending... ?

I've sent pages of scanned phone cards, do i have to send the original cards?

I also am not sending my passport, i think thats not possible. I've sent a certified copy of it, is that good enough? cuz I dont see how they will expect me to just send my passport overseas.

You must send original documents and a photocopy of everything that you submit.

You will only need to provide a copy of the bio data page of your UK passport. A certified copy of this is perfectly acceptable, it does not need to be the original passport.

Here's a document checklist for settlement visas.

EDIT And of course you should be at the airport to meet your fiance, it would be very odd if you were not!! That way, you can verify any questions UKBA may have.

I cannot help with what docs you need, but I had a lot of trouble. In 1960 I married a Girl that came from Guyana of Asian extraction, and even with copies of all docs I still had to go to the airport and show my passport and birth certificate before they would let her into the country.

You shouldn't send any of your original doccuments to him. Telephone the uk border agency or the home office and ask to send them directly to them.
