flats for indoor sprints?

for track, i run the 300 and 55, and some tracks do not allow spikes to be used, and the shoes i have now for sprints have a plate that makes them slippery on the floor. Should i try cross country flats?

I would go to marathon sports. Iv'e got all my running gear there. They won't just tell you what is good for your situation but they;ll also have you run on a treadmill and see what type of shoe is perfect for you. ANd trust me this isn't because I work for marathon sports, they really are great. If you cant make it there or there i'snt one around you i'd go for mid distance flats they have rubber bottoms (non slippery) and removable spikes.

There's obviously no set time that it will be faster by, depends on the day and how fast you're going. But in your case I would say it could take off about a second.
