RIGHT CLICK ON "START", SELECT PROPERTIES...THEN SELECT CUSTOMIZE...THE SELECT LARGE ICONS...THEN GO BACK AND SELECT "APPLY" Also there are other selections possible in the control panel under Font size. Good luck

You could try using the Magnifier tool that comes with Windows. Using this tool will make not only the text larger, but everything else a lot bigger too.
Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier.
If your looking to increase the size of the font while browsing the internet, do this.
If you use Internet Explorer,
Click View > Text Size > Select either Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller, Smallest.
If you use FireFox
Click View > Zoom > Then select either Zoom In or Zoom Out.
If you use Google Chrome
Click the Wrench in the upper right hand corner > Click either the + or - buttons by the word Zoom.

When using a web browser, hold down the CTRL key and use the scroll wheel on the mouse to make the web pages bigger or smaller.
