The problem is corruption among the governments in Africa. Most of the time, when countries send money to African nations, that money gets funneled into the private funds of the leaders, or goes to some sort of militant group who is bent on taking over said nation. Once the leaders realize that their countries are ****, then hopefully they will use some of the money they get to improve infrastructure. If not, tough ****; America has better use for its money.

They are things that can only be discovered after hundreds and hundreds of trials. And of course, strict restriction needs to be in place. However, because the basis of science is always changing due to new discoveries, we need to also have sympathy to the drug company as well. They are not miracle makers, they only try to make profits by selling something that they "think" might help other people. Imagine the world without antibiotics and other medication, how many people would have to die? If we agree that science can be changed, the drug company might not have an excuse of increasing medication prices because of law suit. Also if we look at any other area that has used the socialist system it has bogged down and failed to live up to its Utopian promise. No system is perfect but open and free market is the best out there.

All health and food problems in Africa and everywhere else are ultimately political problems. The world produces enough food and medicine for everyone and the only reason why some people do not get what they need is because of political failure and bad will.

All one has to do is pick a country, any country and see why they lack medical care.

In South Africa the main problem is distribution, what South Africa needs is infrastructure development outside its main cities and with that will come medicine. In the Sudan it is the war against the Southern Sudanese. In the US it is a lack political will to support the poor.

We can't ever solve Africa's health care problems until they at least try and

    fix their own political corruption

Give them money - it goes to the wrong people

Give them aid - it goes to the wrong people

We can't solve their problems until they solve their own

Our own country has too much debt, too much unemployment, and enough health care problems of our own

Sorry it's not an awesome question - it's a rather silly question

  • This is actually a disturbing question because I can see Africans inventing and building a crude x-ray machine but the West is already making improvements to MRI technology. Africans are going to have to get busy and compete with China and India for manufacturing jobs and then buy Western technology with the money they make.

The best thing we can do is stay out of it and let them handle it their own way. Attempts at help have been a waste and are making matters worse.

They can improve health care by stop buying arms used to kill each other.

In my family's experience, one of the best things you can do

for your physical and mental health is keep blacks out of your life.

    Fewer children

Only have children they can feed

    I limited my family .......

A booming population in desperately poor region ......senseless

And the aids situation ....less reckless sex

Can't be done. Too many blacks. Corruption, crime, ignorance. Every where blacks are in control is poverty, misery, hopelessness.
