XBOX 360 not reading optical discs?
It started not reading DVDs. That is it tries to read them, but then eventually suggests I open the tray. Now its not even reading games....we went from playing a game to immediately trying to watch a DVD, when the problem started, and then immediately wont read the same game that was playing without a problem.
Other than send it for repair, are there any suggestions?

Maybe a bug got into it or it might have alot of dust built up in it...
safe bet is to send it to Microsoft since if u open it up yourself, u void the warranty on it.
if u wanna "dust it" yourself us the computer duster spray but DO NOT spray the actual liquid on there cuz then u will really mess it up...make sure it just the air coming out.

My xbox started doing the same thing so I called. Apparently they did an update, and part of the update is a higher security with burnt dvds, in attempt to get people to stop pirating movies. Sorry about that.
