Just for fun: If you were in charge of casting a Muppet version of Harry Potter, how would you cast it?

We were watching Muppet Christmas Carol last night and someone thought the ghost of Christmas present looked like Hagrid. Then the idea of a Muppet Harry Potter movie came up and we had a good laugh.

Forget about that puppet pals thing and think Muppets. Kermit would make a fine Harry Potter. But what about the other roles? Hermione? Ron? Dumbledore? Dobby? And the others? What do you think?

BQ: Muppet Twilight anyone?

Props to you for watching Muppet Christmas Carol. My favorite movie of all time! I still cry during the part when Tiny Tim dies and Kermit is talking about the cemetery plot on the hill so Tim can see the ducks.

    Kermit would be Harry.

    Gonzo would be Ron.

Obviously, Piggy would have to be Ginny.

One of those chickens would be Hermoine.

    Pepe would be Dobby.

Voldemort would be played by Johnny.

    Sal would be Wormtail.

    Dr. Honeydew would be Dumbledore.

Bean the Bunny would be Snape.

    Rolf would be Sirius.

    Beaker would be Lupin.

Draco would be played by Fozzie.

Eh-hem! Kermit, as Harry Potter? Bahahahahahaa.

No, you fools! I would play each and every part. I'd battle the dragons and be the hero, and be the damsel in distress.

Do not doubt my skill level.

Maybe I'd let Kermit be Dumbledore. I always do find him rather attractive in a beard...
