What are some good animes to watch?

HI! i am em and a FAN of anime and manga......id say watch moonphase, school rumble, peach girl [if you are in the mood for shamful love triangles] appleseed [movie] id say watch tsubasa or xxx holic but those are just better to read. another is yotsuba [manga] school rumble is good to read too! another great manga or tv show is the melchanly of harihi suzmiya. some more movies are...howls moving castle, spirited away, the cat returns, castle in the sky, ponyo.

OKAY! anything you watch please watch it in japanese cus its better that way and they have to change what they say if you watch it in english, plus it sucks in english!

My favorites are D. Grey-Man, Case Closed, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, Saiyuki, Shattered Angels, and Darker Than Black.

Chobits- In the future, personal computers have developed into "Persocoms", mobile computers that look like human beings. Hideki Motosuwa, a prep school student, desperately wants to buy a Persocon but cannot afford to. One day he finds a Persocom that has been thrown away and decides to keep it. When he turns on the Persocom, all she can say is "Chi" so he decides to name her that. After a while it starts to become apparent that Chi is more than an average Persocom. Having much better performance, it seems that Chi might be a "Chobit", a type of advanced Persocom rumored to have independent thought.

Toradora-It's a new school year and Ryuuji Takasu discovers not only is he in the same class as his best friend, Yusaku Kitamura, but also Minori Kushieda whom he's had an undisclosed crush on for quite some time. Along with Kitamura and Minori's best friend, the “Palmtop Tiger”, tiny Taiga Aisaka. Taiga, despite her small stature, takes nothing from nobody (when unflattering pictures of her in a bathing suit were circulated, “Of course, I made it rain blood in the photography club.”). Taiga is secretly in love with Kitamura and she and Ryuuji, despite an oil and water relationship, agree to mutually support each other in their quests for their heart's desire.

Tokyo Mew Mew- On her first date with the cutest boy in school, Ichigo is zapped by a mysterious ray that scrambles her DNA with that of the endangered Iriomote wildcat. The next day, Ichigo discovers that she has developed the agility (and occasionally the ears and tail) of a cat, as well as the power to transform into a pink-haired superheroine, Mew Ichigo. She and four other girls, each endowed with the genes of a different "Red Data" animal, have been selected for the top-secret Mew Project, which aims to protect the Earth from an alien menace known as Deep Blue.

Not exactly like the ones you listed but Mew Mew Power has some of the elements Shugo Chara does. And Toradora and Chobits has some elements that remind me of Fruits Basket.

Elfen Lied. It's 13 episdoes long and whoever came up with the idea for the plot is a genius! But it's very bloody in some parts and a couple of scenes where people are walking around naked. Basically it's about this girl with horns who's purpose is to kill people. She can kill them without touching them (if they are within 2 meters), She escapes from the lab here she was held, but is hit on the head (a bullet or something, actually) which cause her to have a split personality. "Nyuu", the sweet, innocent girl who only knows how to say "nyuu, nyuu, nyuu" over and over, and "Lucy" the cold-hearted killer. Two cousins (Kouta and Yuka) find her and take her in. It's really great, and the ending made me cry (it ends ok, though.)

AHHHH SOUL EATER!!! I'm obsessed with that show
