What to do with magazines?

I have tons of old magazines with great articles and bits and pieces in it (those female magazine) but it's been around for too long, I want to get rid of it. Though I feel it would be a waste if I just threw out those articles that might come in handy some day.

I can't tear out all the articles and keep them, it would be a mess as they are sometimes centerfold

As someone earlier suggested you could scan the articles and whatever else you wanted to keep and put it on a disc or a flashdrive. I would then recommend trying to find a person who is interested in collecting older issues of the magazines you have you might be able to sell them off. You also might try selling them to a used bookstore for some extra cash. If there is a store near you like Half-Priced Book you try selling them there.

You could donate them to a library/used book store?

You can scan them and save them on a disk.
