Are modern Christians living more like Christ, or more like the Romans or the Pharisees?

Gahh! Good Question.

I would say both. There are lots of religious people in the world today...Rather than a relationship with Jesus, you get into Christianity meaning you kind of just fall into the rules and procedures. It's easy to get into routine. Get up, try not to sin, read the Bible, go to church, do some service, blah, blah, blah. Somewhere in your walk with Jesus they lost the true meaning of what being a Christian really means. Instead of loving people, like Jesus did, you begin to condemn.

Judging - Love = Condemnation

Judging + Love = Restoration

Yet not all people fall into religion. There are lots of people that have a passion for Christ. People that are a Christian, not because that is what they are supposed to do, but because they want to.

You can tell who a person is by the fruit they bare.

Galations 5: 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

If they bare these, they are in a true relationship w/ Jesus, opposed to the religous "followers"

With the exception of believing in Christ, most Christians live more like the manipulating, finger-pointing, judgmental Pharisees.

I can see mostly Pharisees and real Christians, but im not qualified to judge who's who... its just my opinion on what fruit comes out of the modern christians today.

The Religious Right crowd reminds me of the Pharisees of Jesus' time.
